First show of the year on we were talking about cheeses. It's a philosophical debate in my mind as to why Sainsburys put the mature cheddar in dark red packaging, yet the EXTRA mature cheddar gets a light blue treatment. Is Sainsbury's trying to make us eat bland food? (Legal note: Sainsbury's are NOT trying to make us eat bland food, and everything sold at Sainsbury's is delicious even thier toilet bleach, thanks very much for asking!). Jethro co-hosted. We also stayed on air for an extra half hour because there was just so much to talk about.

This week I played the following:

1. Cool For Cats by Squeeze

2. Eureka by M

3. What Difference Does It Make? by The Smiths

4. Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now by The Smiths

5. Hard To Find by Squeeze

6. San Tropez by Pink Floyd

Tonight's show opened with a call from Johnny Harzen-Farzen, everyone's favourite west country caller. My co-host, Alex, didn't take to Johnny as most do so I had to cut him off. Dibb spoke about his parents in this week's Dibb's Dollop, and after that my flatmate, Marcelle, phoned in requesting I played Fish! by Jeffrey Foskett.

This week I played the following records:

1. Am I The Kinda Girl? by Cathy Dennis

2. Video Killed The Radio Star by Bruce Woolley & The Camera Club

3. Get Away William by Bruce Woolley & The Camera Club

4. Fish! by Jeffrey Foskett

5. Love Will Tear Us Apart (Version) by Joy Division

6. Floating Down The River by Tears For Fears

On air Saturdays from 2000 till 2100.
